Accessible Nature Experiences for All

Hello, I’m Catherine, founder of Share Nature Together—a platform dedicated to opening the door to meaningful, accessible nature experiences for all members of the community.

My own journey through serious illness deepened my understanding of nature’s healing presence. That experience sparked the vision for Share Nature Together: a way to share the emotional, physical, and restorative benefits of time in nature, while also nurturing resilience and human connection.

Drawing on my teaching background and many years immersed in Shinrin-yoku (Japanese forest bathing), I create simple, inclusive experiences designed to support wellbeing, restore calm, and invite people back into a gentle relationship with the natural world.

Photographer & Storyteller

Emily McCoy is a Melbourne-based photographer whose work combines technical skill with a genuine love of the outdoors and human connection. With a background in schools and formal training in Photography and Graphic Design, Emily brings both creativity and clarity to capturing moments that matter.

Her experience spans events, portraits, and corporate photography, with national and international assignments shaping her ability to notice detail and anticipate the perfect moment. For Share Nature Together, Emily’s work focuses on visually conveying the emotional, physical, and restorative benefits of time in nature. Through her lens, she highlights not only the beauty of natural environments, but also the resilience, joy, and connection that emerge when people engage with them.

Emily’s approach is collaborative and participant-focused. She believes every image tells a story and works closely with individuals and groups to ensure their experiences are authentically reflected. While she may be behind the camera, her goal is always to make sure the story feels like yours.

Chief Cuddle Officer

At 13 years young, our beloved Border Collie, Lauchie (McLaughlan Scott), holds the very important role of Chief Cuddle Officer at Share Nature Together. Known for his gentle nature and impeccable timing, he always seems to know when someone needs a cuddle, a smooch, or simply a quiet moment of comfort.

A lifelong companion in the outdoors, Lauchie embodies the joy and restorative power of connecting with nature. Whether it’s joining a walk, sitting close during reflection, or offering his signature “lean-in” cuddle, he reminds us all of the healing presence animals bring to human connection and resilience.

Much more than a mascot, our Chief Cuddle Officer helps make every experience with Share Nature Together a little warmer, softer, and more grounded in the simple pleasures of care and companionship.

He holds an Advanced Diploma in Cuddle Medicine. He specialises in soliciting treats from strangers, and is known for his enjoyment of the outdoors.
